a. Ano bang naituro niya sa akin?
b. Paano ba nya ako naimpluwensyahan?
c. Gusto ko bang maihambing sa taong ito?
d. Tinuruan ba niya akong mapagbuti ang aking sarili at aking kapwa?
3. Sabi ko dalawa lang pero surprise! May number 3!
Huwag itong basahin
'Wag mag-aksaya ng panahong magbasa ng kalokohan.

Loyola
I usually don't write about useful information but I hope this would be somehow helpful.
My mother and I went to Loyola Plans Building in Makati yesterday to check on the status of her Educational Plan.
Loyola Building, 849 Arnaiz Ave., Makati, Metro Manila
In her case, she was already receiving checks for 7 years. However, she was wondering why she didn't receive her last check due last year. They actually sent her a message saying her check was already available for deposit. She trusted that her money will be in her account before the end of the year. January 2016 came and still, there was nothing. She followed up on the matter and they said they had to replace her check for some reason. After waiting for several weeks, there were still no updates. No one answered even though she kept on calling them after that.
It was only until recently when the news came out that we finally understood why they always delayed the issuance of the check. That's why yesterday, we went there to find out what will happen to the remaining amount.
Sorry for the glare. It's quite hard to read but I think it says: Filing of (something)-Timeplan; Educational Plan; Cash Surrender; Unrendered; Buy back, Termlife: Proceed inside customer service. (Ask for guard on duty.)
Anyway, in the end, we weren't able to get anything. Even the check that was supposed to be deposited a long time ago was not there. The status was: for replacement. When? I don't know. They said not to worry about it because despite the delay, the company will continue to operate and issue the checks after selling its assets. I just hope it's true.
Here are some things to prepare when going there to file a cash surrender, buy back, etc.
1. Original copy of your contract, certificate of full payment or whatever other important papers that are related to your plan. If it's not yours, meaning your name is not the one on the contract, you have to prepare an SPA (Special Power of Attorney). Prepare a photocopy of each. They have a copier there but you'd save time if you just bring yours.
2. A photocopy of 2 valid IDs. (Make it 2 copies just to be sure.)
3. Water and snacks. You'll probably wait for a long time.
You'll be filling out this form:
I don't know if they will change their procedure or system. I don't actually know anything specific about the plans and other details. Just go there and ask. Don't get confused by the line of people outside. Ask the person at the reception area as soon as you get there.
Good luck!

You'll see a lot of people outside. If you ask them, they're not actually waiting in line. Most of them are there because they are confused with the instructions from the guard at the reception.
If you are to ask the guard on the procedure, he'll only actually say 2 things:
1. If you are claiming your check, go to the second floor (but they aren't releasing any).
2. Go to the office on the ground floor for filing cash surrender, buy back, etc.
He always said please wait outside as both the ground and second floor are full. However, we didn't see any lines or any other people giving instructions to customers. Therefore, we went to the second floor.
It was chaos on the second floor. Everyone was gathering around some of the company's employees and asking some questions. Then there was a small table where other employees were (around 3 of them) telling people to sign up on their paper to follow-up on their checks. I don't know what was happening there but I heard that plan holders will be able to get their checks after 6 months or so. In the case of my mother, she told one of the employees that the check was supposedly available. Then, we were told to find some person handling these matters in the office on the ground floor.
Now, on the ground floor, they weren't allowing people to go inside the office. The guard was saying that but no one was controlling the people so we went in.
Everyone's busy so it's hard to know where to wait, where the line is, whom to talk to, etc. Eventually, a line of people waiting was formed for those people filing for cash surrender, unrendered, buy back, etc.
There were 3 employees on this desk here whom we could talk to about the details. They were really kind and tried to explain the process to each plan holder. I feel kind of sorry for them though. When the employees on the second floor cannot answer the customers questions, they tell them to inquire here. If the case is not really their concern, they tell people to go upstairs. Of course, people would get mad. If they had a procedure and were more organized in the first place, there wouldn't be any problems.
The sad thing is that there were no employees telling people what to do upon entering the office (except for one guy who was assisting those who were there for filing). Around lunchtime, some people became agitated because an employee suddenly prevented them from going inside. Some people were shouting and cursing which was already expected because they weren't giving them answers or even instructions on what to do.
Anyway, in the end, we weren't able to get anything. Even the check that was supposed to be deposited a long time ago was not there. The status was: for replacement. When? I don't know. Tons of Reasons Why I Hate People (Part 1)
I've had this in my drafts folder for almost 2 years. I haven't been able to publish it simply because I'm not done with it yet. I've decided to label this as part 1. I might post parts 2-50 in the future.
March 30,2014
Okay. Here's my list. I'm still working on it but it will surely be a long one.
1. They set an appointment then arrive 1 hour later (or never arrive at all). - Geez! It only costs 1 peso to send a message or please just answer my call!
2. They reserve a seat at the cinema or in the bus but they would occupy other people's seats. - Why do you think they asked you to choose a seat in the first place?
3. They don't know what "first come, first served" means. - Learn to fall in line people! (If parent's can't, schools should teach this. Seriously.)
4. They don't have any consideration for other people using the restroom. - There's a water closet in the cubicle. Notice the seat? You sit on it! (Don't give me a history or lifestyle BS. We all live in a modern world. This should be common sense by now.)
5. They bring their children in public places and let them misbehave. - They are YOUR children. Be responsible! (And don't tell me I don't understand because I don't have children. This has nothing to do with that. We are talking about common courtesy.)
6. They treat you based on how you dress. - This is especially true in shops in the mall. I'll wear whatever the heck I want to wear and that doesn't change the fact that I'm still a customer. Don't be disrespectful just because you don't see me in trendy and expensive clothes. And surprise, surprise! You're not the store owner. You're just a worker like the rest of us so do your job well.
7. They judge you depending on the language you use. - Unfortunately, I only speak Tagalog and English. In many retail establishments or restaurants, they prioritize customers who speak in English (and like in the previous post, English-speaking Filipinos in posh clothes). Why are we like this? Almost all of us can speak English but choose to speak in our mother tongue because it's just how it is. Look around you - you're in the Philippines! Oh, the shocking truth! Why does it have to do anything with being treated well? Don't get me wrong. It's perfectly fine to speak in English but we deserve to be respected regardless of the language we speak.
8. They walk slowly in very busy streets. - *bleep bleep* I almost got hit by a car because you're not paying attention and you are still walking very slowly in front of me! If you're a Filipino, you know that you should hurry when on the pedestrian crossing or else you'll be on your way to the emergency room - dead on arrival.
9. They don't read signs.
- It clearly says "Keep right. Give way to rushing passengers." There shouldn't even be a sign like this. It is... guess what? Common sense! This is also true when walking on hallways, sidewalks or corridors. It's an unwritten rule but yes it is a rule. Keep right.
- "10 items or less only" And here you come with your big cart standing in line with people carrying small baskets. Then when it is your turn, you'll cause a commotion while spouting insults to the cashier on how unreasonable they are for not letting you pay there.
10. They don't know how to behave properly in the movie theater.
- There is such a thing as "SILENT MODE" on your smartphone so that you can keep it quiet when needed. In the movie theater, there will be a movie playing and other people watching. Yes, people other than you. If you want to talk on your phone then get out!
- We should all feel comfortable when watching in the cinema, I do agree with that statement. But please, it is not your living room! Don't put you feet up in front of you because below your filthy shoes lie another person's head. Oh, you didn't know?
- I know you don't like her. I don't like her as well but I would kill you if you don't shut up!

Plastikan
Paano ko ba sisimulan 'to?

Sabi nung isa, "Uy yung basura..." May gamit din ang pagiging maldita minsan.
Diyan nagtatapon este nagtatapos ang aking kwento. Ayon nga sa pamangkin ko, "The End."

Star
Kakaiba. Kulay dilaw na parang may sakit. Hindi ko masabi kung masarap o hindi. Parang... ahh! Ano ba yun?
Ayan, ubos na!

Blag!
I miss blogging! I'm out of ideas though. What to write about? Hmmm... I'm once again losing interest in the things that I've once liked.
I don't want my blog entries to be as boring as me. Unfortunately, this is how my brain is right now - empty and useless. I missed the days when I can just write about anything. It's not that they are really interesting but I did enjoy writing them.
I'll try again next time.

3. Lose weight
4. Find a new hobby
5. Save money
6. Invest
7. Improve skills
8. Develop new skills
